Beverly Clark

Beverly Clark, 80 of Eldora, Iowa passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015, at Westbrook Acres and under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Funeral services will be held on at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Phone 641-844-1234. Beverly Kay Sobek was born on October 29, 1935; she was the daughter of Fred and Ethel (Netland) Sobek, Bev attended school in the Klemme Community School District. On October 20, 1952, Beverly married the love of her life, Kenneth Clark, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Bev was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, her yard and flower gardens, bingo and enjoyed collecting Depression glass. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jim (Marcia) Clark of Eldora, and Judy Prouty of Marshalltown; her grandchildren: Stephanie (Gary) Saak of Cedar Falls, Randall (Danielle) Clark of Conrad, Iowa, and Jeff Prouty of Cedar Rapids; four precious great-grandchildren: Meghan, Benjamin, and Logan Saak, and Izeley Clark, sister, Sheryll (John) Klesel of Garner, Iowa and brother, Rodney Sobek of Britt, Iowa and several nieces and nephews. In death Bev rejoins her parents, Fred and Ethel, husband Kenneth and several brothers.
