Beverly Reutzel

Beverly Reutzel, 77, of Marshalltown, died Thursday, December 6, 2012, at the Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center. Visitation for Beverly will be held from 10:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home, where her family will be present to greet friends. Funeral services for Beverly will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Zaharia Family Funeral Home in Truman, Minnesota. Visitation for Beverly will be held from 2:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 9, 2012, at the Zaharia Family Funeral Home. Burial will take place at the Westford Cemetery. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Beverly and her family.Beverly was born December 25, 1934, in Truman, Minnesota, the daughter of Harry and Violet (Harris) Grant and the granddaughter of Bert and Alice Harris. She was raised and educated in Truman, Minnesota, and graduated from the Truman High School. Beverly was united in marriage to her Richard Reutzel in 1953 and to this union, three children were born. Throughout her lifetime Beverly was a devoted daughter and mother. When Beverly had free time she enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and western movies. Some of her fondest memories were of her youth and the times spent with her Grandma and Grandpa Bert. Beverly is survived by her children: David (Janet) Reutzel of Winterset, Iowa, Dan (Cindy) Reutzel of Marshalltown and Darci Reutzel of Tucson, Arizona, her five grandchildren: Jennifer, Joshua, Jessica, Ryan and Ashley and her sister Rosalie (Duane) Heckman of Truman, Minnesota.Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.
