She grew up in her Marshalltown home near West Olive Street. This was her father’s property and they eventually named Robertson Drive in honor of their family name. Beverly attended school in the Marshalltown School District and graduated with the class of 1954.

On May 29, 1955, she was united in marriage to Kent W. Lynch. Beverly and Kent lived on the family farm. The farm was a gift from Beverly’s father and mother. She spent the next 33 years as a homemaker and mother to her family. Where she served on the board of directors and took great pride in decorating the common area every season for several years. In May of 2025 she moved into Glenwood Place in Marshalltown and made it her home until her passing.

In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, decorating for all of the holidays, (especially Christmas), making ceramics, crafting, and watching her favorite soap operas. She also had a vast collection of bird, bunny and snowman figurines. Beverly cared deeply for her family. All three of her children called her every morning and evening for over 15 years. They were her pride and joy and she was their best friend.
