Beverly Shetler, 81, of Marshalltown, died Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Grandview Heights Nursing Home in Marshalltown, Iowa, while under the care of Iowa River Hospice.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. She was the daughter of Cecil and Clara (Gull) Moore, and she was educated in the Marshalltown School District and graduated from Marshalltown High School with the class of 1947. On February 28, 1953, Beverly married Myron Shetler in Marshalltown and since lived in rural Marshalltown. In earlier years she had worked at Commercial State Bank, and then she stayed at home as a farmwife and homemaker. First and foremost, Beverly loved her husband, her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a faithful and loving person who enjoyed cooking and baking and had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed reading, was involved in her church ladies fellowship and loved traveling. Beverly had been a member of Iowa River Church of the Brethren.Left to cherish Beverlys memory are her husband Myron of Marshalltown, her children Dennis (Terri) Shetler of Marshalltown, Kathy (Bob) Hipp of Batavia, Iowa, and Daniel (Wendy) Shetler of McKinney, Texas; her grandchildren Brandon, Amy, Dylan and Mariah Shetler, Rachael (Tony) Hughes, and Joseph and Robert Hipp; and great-grandchildren Leila Shetler, Kierra James and Galen Hughes and one sister Beatrice Mulcahy of Boulder, Colorado.In death Beverly rejoins her parents Cecil and Clara Moore and her sister Barbara Banker and brother James Ira Moore.
