She graduated from Mason City High School in 1956. January 6, 1958, Bobbie was united in marriage to Delbert Corwin in Dubuque. They lived their married lives together in Marshalltown. Bobbie had been employed for several years at Strands Bakery. Later she worked at KIOWA while she and Delbert started their own business, D & B Appliance Services in 1973. She was the bookkeeper for their business and retired in 1998. Bobbie was an avid bowler and served as a member on the Board of Directors of the bowling association for many years. Bobbie loved to spend time with family and friends, whether it was dancing to the jitterbug or sitting around the campfire, she was the life of the party. She also enjoyed fishing and would not let anyone else cast her line out for her. You never knew what Bobbie would hit when she cast, whether it was a limb, tree or even another person, but she could occasionally make it into the water. Above all else, Bobbie enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Bobbie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Delbert and her daughter Sherri Hopes of Grundy Center. She is also survived by her grandchildren Matthew Cheville, Nathan (Chelsea) Cheville, Krystle Corwin, Michael Corwin and Dallas Immel Jr.  (Megan); great grandchildren Miranda Cheville, Jada, Sydnee, and Britley Cheville, Caydence and Dustin Immel; brother Dick (Barb) Miller of Minnesota.  Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents Bob and Dorothy, step-father Art, brothers Kit and Jerry, son Terry, granddaughter Laura Lee and several brother and sister in laws.
