Bobby Joe Simpson, 75, of Marshalltown, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at UnityPoint Health- Marshalltown.

Bobby Joe Simpson was born on March 15, 1951 in Belle Plaine, Iowa. He was the son of Chester and Lucille (Ladely) Simpson. Bobby had worked as a chemical applicator. He enjoyed golfing, watching Iowa Hawkeye football, relaxing with his friends, cooking, and watching and reading westerns.
Bobby is survived by his children: Amy (Scott) Pebler and Dirk (Jennifer Berndt) Simpson. Grandchildren: Tyler Pebler and Brett Pebler along with two great-grandchildren. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents: Chester and Lucille.
