Bonnie Marie Bagnall, 82, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Iowa River Hospice Home. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all of the members at Iowa River Hospice for the love and compassion they showed to Bonnie and her family while caring for her. A Memorial service for Bonnie will be held by the family at 1:30 P.M. Friday afternoon, July 26, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 507 East Olive Street, Marshalltown. Bonnie Marie Bryant was born in Southgate, California on January 2, 1937, the daughter of Dorothy Marie (Brown) and Charles Lorin Bryant. Bonnie grew up in California, graduating from El Rancho High in Pico Rivera in June of 1954. After graduating High School she married Billy E. Thompson. From this union they had two children Darrell Eugene and Deborah Mae. In 1964 she married Richard L. Bagnall and they had one son, Russell Loren. Bonnie worked for Marshalltown School District, Building and Grounds for 28 years, retiring on December 31, 2004. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling. In 2008 she dedicated her life to serving Jehovah. Bonnie enjoyed sharing in the ministry and helping others come to know about God’s Kingdom and the blessing this will bring to all mankind. Left to cherish her memory are: one sister, Donna (David) Castarena; two sons: Darrell Bagnall and Russell Bagnall (PA); one daughter, Deborah (Ricky) Overstake; grandchildren: Heather Bagnall, Blake (Jessica) Bagnall-Way, Blair (Jon) McDonough, Daly Bagnall, Jazmin (Kevin) Sippy, Desmen Bagnall, Brice Bagnall, Deidra (Jim) Leclaire, Dawn (Bill) Logsdon, Diana (Marc) Wilson, Denise (Mike Jackley) Overstake and Dana (James) Larson; as well as many great-grandchildren. Bonnie was preceded in death by her father Charles Bryant, mother Dorothy Bryant and sister Junie.
