Bradley John Karns was born February 16, 1961 in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was the youngest of two sons born to Lawrence “Larry” and Viriginia “Ginny” (Cochran) Karns. He grew up in Marshalltown in his early years of school before moving with his family to St. Anthony where he attended his later school years at West Marshall. Brad graduated from West Marshall High School in the Class of 1980.

Not long after his graduation, Brad met Leigh Ann Bucklin. On August 17, 1985, the two were united in marriage in Rogers, Arkansas. They spent their first year of married life in Rogers while Brad worked a new company. They moved to the State Center area and began a family of their own raising two daughters, Krysti and Jen. Brad was known to be a jack of all trades and considered himself to be a handyman. In 2003, Brad and Leigh Ann moved to Garwin where they called their forever home. In his free time, Brad loved to attend and participate in various car shows and races, spend time with his children and grandchildren and was always known to be patriotic and had a love for his country.

Those left to remember and cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Leigh Ann Karns; daughters, Krysti (Kyle) Krull and Jen Karns; three grandchildren, Caden Karns, Mattox Krull and Jasper Krull; and sister-in-law, Bev Karns. Additionally, he is survived by his uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Ginny Karns; his brother, Jim Karns; and paternal and maternal grandparents.
