Bradley Edwards

Bradley Allen Edwards, 62, of Garwin, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Memorial services for Bradley will be held Friday, March 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Bradley was born on November 28, 1962, in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was the son of Gary Edwards and Ardeena (Deena) Sliekers. Bradley spent his childhood in Garwin, Iowa where he graduated from Garwin High School. Bradley went off to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Navy in 1981 where he met his lifelong brothers Paul Shingleton, Jim Malcolm, and John Cusack while attending A-school in Millington, TN. To their surprise, they eventually received orders to Sigonella Naval Air Station in Sicily where they were reunited and continued their lifelong friendship. There Bradley studied Aviation Anti-Submarine Warfare Electronics and most importantly met the love of his life, Antonella Vassallo, where they were united in marriage and began their fruitful life.

Bradley had worked for many companies both as an Electrician installing security in major hotels and casinos and as a Maintenance technician installing equipment in emergency vehicles and repairing factory machinery. When Bradley wasn’t working, he enjoyed working on cars, building engines, traveling, camping, grilling, and hunting deer, but most importantly pheasant hunting with his puppies.

Bradley is survived by his Wife: Antonella Vassallo Edwards. Children: Jo Anna Edwards (Hailie and Madison), Clinton Edwards, and Elee (Zach) Devine (Gabriel and Baby girl on the way). By his Siblings Todd (Anthony) Edwards and Stacy (Chris) Duden. Along with many nieces and nephews.

Bradley was preceded in death by his Father: Gary Edwards and Mother Ardeena Sliekers (Edwards).
