Bradley M. Larson, 55, of Marshalltown, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Central Iowa Healthcare in Marshalltown. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Memorial services for Brad will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Green Mountain United Church of Christ. The family has requested that you dress casual to both the visitation and service in either your Green Bay Packers clothes or Harley attire. Memorials may be directed to the family. Brad Larson was born on March 4, 1961 in White Hall, Wisconsin to Mike and Betty Bergerson Larson. Brad graduated from White Hall, Wisconsin High School in 1979. Brad was united in marriage to Geri Rybarczyk on August 9, 1980 in Arcadia, Wisconsin. Brad and Geri moved to Marshalltown in 1983. Brad had worked as a Journeyman Mechanic at Lennox Industries. He also had worked at Fisher Controls and most recently had been in maintenance at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds. Brad enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, drinking beer with his friends, spending time with his grandchildren and was very proud of being a part shareholder for his favorite team; the Green Bay Packers. In his youth, he enjoyed fast pitch softball. Brad made friends with everyone. He loved to tell his Ole and Lena jokes and could make everyone laugh so hard that they would cry. Brad is survived by his wife of 35 years, Geri. Children: James (Dana) Larson of Le Grand and Joe (KayLynn Hoing) Larson of Fort Collins, Colorado. Grandchildren: Taylor and Jayda Larson and Nathaniel Webber. Brothers: Ron (Diane), Rick (Marge) and Jeff (Beth) Larson. Sisters: Linda (Ralph) Schlitz and Tammy Classey. He is also survived by his many good friends and family. Brad is preceded in death by his parents Mike and Betty.
