He had a passion for model cars and trains, playing airsoft wars, working on his cars, and spending his younger years at Skatetown.  He had a love of nature and over the last few years of his life he built a relationship with our father in heaven and was an active member with Faith Open Bible Church in Marshalltown.   He is survived by his son: Bryton Griggs (Tyler Determann) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; mother: Joan Griggs of Marshalltown, Iowa; siblings: Kevin (Dianne) Griggs, Curt Griggs, and Amber (Rik) Relph all of Marshalltown, Iowa; as well as several nieces and nephews. Brian is preceded in death by his father, Carl and both paternal and maternal grandparents.
