Brian Lee Hedum, 51, of Montour, died Tuesday, May 8th, 2007. Private family memorial services will be held. Memorials may be sent to Lee C. Hedum 1502 Laurel Drive, Marshalltown, IA 50158. Born on January 13, 1956 at the Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea, Minnesota, he was the son of Lee and Glenna (Lundelbrek) Hedum. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran in Albert Lea, MN and was confirmed at Elim Lutheran in Marshalltown. Brian attended the Marshalltown Schools and graduated in 1974. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1974 to 1978. He attended Alexandria Tech. School in Alexandria, MN. He was united in marriage to Jan Happee in Minnesota and was then later divorced. Left to celebrate his life are his sons: Joshua (Vannessa) Hedum of Cheyenne, WY, and Uriah Hedum (Lennae Lyng) of Fridley, MN; grandson Elijah; granddaughter, Rachel; father, Lee C. Hedum of Marshalltown; and siblings: Mark (Brenda) Hedum of Marshalltown, James (Marla) Hedum of Laurel, Steven (Sheryl) Hedum of Tama, and Susan (Scott Sorem) of Gladbrook. In death he was rejoined his mother, Glenna and grandparents.
