Byron Butler

Byron Brian Dadarren Butler, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Southridge Nursing and Rehab Center and under the care of Iowa River Hospice Home.There will be no services and cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be directed towards the family. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Byron and his family. Phone 641-844-1234.Byron was born on July 23, 1966, in Lake Village, Arkansas, to Dupree Butler and Willie Beatrice Holts. Byron married Beatrice Brackett on October 22, 1995, in Eudora, Arkansas. Byron loved watching and playing basketball and football. His favorite teams were the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Francisco 49ers. He also enjoyed family gatherings, cookouts and BBQ.Byron is survived by his wife of 17 years, Beatrice. Children: Byron Butler Jr. and Markus Dupree Butler. Stepchildren: Taminisha McCloud, Larry Brackett, Larrinishia Brackett and Raina Alaine Smith. Grandchild: Mylie Cleveland. Brothers: Micheal Holts, John Wallace and Shay Alen Holts. Sisters: Michelle Kincade, Antoinette Wallace and Rashonda Holts. Avery special partner: Rachel Woodruff and very special parents, Mark and Cathy Woodruff.Byron is preceded in death by his father and grandmother, Emma Johnson.
