Carol Ann Snider

Carol Ann Snider, 52 of Clemons, passed away on September 24, 2014 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Memorial services for Carol will be held on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family. Carol Beurskens was born on March 2, 1962 in Marshalltown to James and Shirley Beurskens. Carol graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1980 then went on to take some college courses at DMACC. Carol had worked as a CNA for Woodward Hospital. Carol liked to fish, camp and dance. She also liked music and watching movies. Carol was very good at woodworking and crafts and liked to repurpose items. Above all else; she cherished the time with her children and grandchildren. Carol is survived by her children: Jillisa (Ryan) Harvey of Marshalltown and Jennifer (Michael Hicks) Snider of State Center. Parents: James and Shirley Beurskens. Grandchildren: Sebastian, Nicefor, Suri, Neil and Braxton and her siblings: Joe Beurskens of Marshalltown and Cary Beurskens of Arizona. Carol is preceded in death by her brother Dean Beurskens.
