Carolyn Hagen Perry, 48, of Marshalltown, died Monday, April 5, 2010, on the Monarch Wing of Hospice of Jasper County. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2010, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no visitation. Carolyn Sue Hagen was born on April 6, 1961, in Waterloo, Iowa. She was the daughter of Kenneth Hagen I and Joy Welsh. She attended school in Marshalltown and BCL. She had lived in the Marshalltown area for most of her life. She was employed at Augustine Engraving for many years and was a bartender at Bogey and Bacalls in Conrad and Toms and J.D.s in Marshalltown. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Surviving Little One are her children Hannah (Jeremy) Peerenboom and Patrick Bracy (Elise Hoop); her stepchildren Taira Herrington, Devin Herrington, and Chad Bracy; her seven grandchildren Kjerstyn Hagen, Damyniq Shoumaker, Chayten and Carter Bracy, Rylee Doser, Lucas Stevens, and Brianna Johnson; her companion of 16 years, Rob Hodson; her brothers Ken (Sally) Hagen II and Steve Hagen (Nancy Robb); her sister Kathy Beem and her special 4 legged friend, Angel. In death she has rejoined her father Kenneth Hagen I, her mother Joy Cohen, and her stepfather Marvin Cohen.
