Casey Ryan

Casey J. Ryan, 25, of Albion, died early Thursday morning, January 10th. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 14th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Gregg Davison of the Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Following cremation rites, he will be laid to rest in the Albion Cemetery. Following the services, all are invited to the Albion Fire Department for a time of fellowship and refreshments. He graduated from the Marshalltown high Schools Class of 2001 and then the Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg. Casey was employed at Concrete, Inc. in Marshalltown at the time of his death and enjoyed motorcycles, snowmobiles, hunting, the outdoors, dogs, and especially his family and friends. Left to celebrate his life are his parents: Joni (Mike) Burroughs of Marshalltown/Albion, Mark (Rebecca Strike) Ryan of Dubuque, brothers Jesse Ryan of Marshalltown, Cory Burroughs of Marshalltown, sister Rachel Ryan of Dubuque, grandmother JoAnn Boyd of Boone, grandfather Ken Ryan of Denver, CO., and his best friend and companion, Ms. Chris Bailey and her son Dakota of Albion. In death he has rejoined his grandparents.
