Ceal S. Biddle Jr. AKA “Kool Aid”, age 67, of Waterloo, Iowa passed away on July 21, 2024, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown.
A graveside service has been scheduled for Thursday July 25, 2024, at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel at 12:30 P.M. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. Ceal Stephen Biddle Jr. was born on January 23, 1957, in Moorhead, Mississippi. He was the son of Ceal S. Biddle Sr. and Goldie (Dickens) Biddle. “Kool Aid” attended East High School in Waterloo, Iowa, and then decided he wanted to serve his country, so he enlisted in the United States Army, where he obtained his GED and so proudly served two tours in the Vietnam War from October 1974 to October 1976. Ceal later worked for John Deere as a foundry worker and was an auto mechanic in his free time as well. He was a faithful member of the Deliverance Temple- Church of God in Christ of Waterloo, IA. under the leadership of Pastor Johnnie Johnson and Lady Pearl Johnson. He did sincerely accept Jesus Christ in the last few months of his life. Ceal maintained constant communication with various family members and friends on a regular basis. This is how he showed his love. During his free time, he enjoyed playing the bass guitar with his band and writing his own songs.
He is survived by his special friend, Audrey F. Shannon, his children; Michael Lamar Bunch, Stephanie Nicole Shannon, Ceal Stephen Biddle III., and stepdaughter Latasha Bunch- Gleason, his grandchildren; Miq-Avious D-Oshai, Darnelle Bunch, Chishone Tyone Phillips, Jameriah Simone Scott, Ky-Jon Daishun Thomas, Teasia Nichelle Shannon, Quinyah Shapree Robinson, Aunjahlai Amor Morehead, Crischeaun Sejour Biddle, Ilaecya Biddle, and step grandchildren; Damarcus Sanders and Clifton Jens Jr., his siblings Bobbie (Levi) Grove of Memphis, Tennessee, Willie C. (Cathy) Biddle of Waterloo, Iowa, Mary (Lee) Cooley of Rochester, New York, Pamela Hawthorne of Waterloo, Iowa, Jackie (David) Moore of Waterloo, Iowa and Tony (Cindy) Biddle of Rochester, New York. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Ceal is preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents, his parents Ceal Sr. and Goldie, his baby sister Donna Martin, his granddaughter Elladee Biddle and his stepfather Lenora “Joe” Montgomery.
