Charles Dean

Charles Dean, age 79, of State Center, passed away on Friday, November 4th, at the UnityPoint health in Marshalltown.

Born on Christmas Eve day of 1942, in Manchester, Iowa, he was the son of Charles Henry Dean and Marian Lois (Hilsenbeck) Dean. He received his education in the area of his birth.

Charles had two lives in a working career. First was his heavy equipment machinery repair life where he fixed everything from rock crushers to bulldozers. Second, was his career as a chef in restaurants.

He loved cooking and had a great sense of humor.

He was blessed with two daughters: Angie Warren and Ginger Dean amongst other family members.
