Charles Chuck Klosterman, 52, of Marshalltown, passed away, Wednesday evening, March 21, 2007 while under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Memorial services and a celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 28th at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Haverhill. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to the service time on Wednesday. Born on December 2, 1954 in Marshalltown, he was the son of Edward Frank and Rita Mary (Lang) Klosterman. He received his education in the Marshalltown area. He served our country proudly from 1974 to 1980 in the Army National Guard. On August 6, 2001, he was united in marriage to Lori DuPratt in Las Vegas, Nevada. Charles was employed as a semi driver for Cargo Carriers. Left to mourn his loss are his wife, Lori of Marshalltown, children: Chanda (Kevin) Bovenmyer of Gladbrook, Carrie Klosterman of Sioux City, IA, Brandon Klosterman of Marshalltown, Crystal and Jami Phipps of Marshalltown; grandchildren: Tayler, Alec, and Cade Bovenmyer and Isaac Neel, siblings: Duane (Sharon) Klosterman of Eldora, IA, Lola (Bob) Fouch of Marshalltown, Ken (Judy) Klosterman of Chula Vista, CA, Jerry (the late Jill) Klosterman of Rhodes, IA, Ron (Janean) Klosterman of St. Anthony, IA, Jane (Phil) Gowdy of Marshalltown, and Ed (Pat) Klosterman of Des Moines. In death he has rejoined his parents, Edward and Rita and sister-in-law, Jill Klosterman.
