Cheryl Anne Brown (68), of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, September 15th, 2015. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th, 2015, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2015, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home at 10:30 am. She was raised in Clemons and graduated from West Marshall with the class of 1965. On May 23rd, 2009, Cheryl and Charles Brown were united in marriage at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. Together, they made their home in the Marshalltown area. She was an employee of Marshall Manufacturing and Fisher Emerson, until her retirement in 2010. She enjoyed farming, sports, gardening, travel, canning and spending time with her grandchildren. Cheryl was a member of the Clemons United Church of Christ and the UAW. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Chad (Jillisa) Halverson, Wade (Lindsay) Halverson, Greg (Tricia) Brown, William (Marcia) Brown, Joshua (Justin) Brown, Heather (Darren) Eige, grandchildren; Huston, Clayton, Easton, Taylor, Ragan, Sawyer, David, Christopher, Patrick, Michaela, Garrett, Riley, Ethan, Eli, siblings; Randy Funke, Brian Buzz (Rebecca) Funke, Cindy Funke. In death, Cheryl rejoins her parents; Harold and Marjorie Funke, sister; Barbara Bartlett, brother; Jim Funke.
