Cheryl Kae Davidsen, 48, of 408 West High Street, died early Saturday morning, December 22nd, at the Villa del Sol in Marshalltown while under their care, her family and the Iowa River Hospice. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 27th, at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Gregg Davidson officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Riverside Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Iowa River Hospice new house fund, Bliss Cancer Center in Ames, Animal Rescue League or the Trinity Lutheran Church. Born on February 8th, 1959, at the Satori Hospital in Cedar Falls, Iowa, she was the daughter of Deloy K. and Yvonne C. (Carey) Davidsen. She graduated from high school in 1977 and received her business degree from the Marshalltown Community College. She has resided in Marshalltown with the exception of a few years in Midland, Texas. Cheryl was employed as a bookkeeper at Phippss Chiropractic and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the GIA Singers youth group. Ms. Davidsen enjoyed working with polymer clay, reading, old TV classics, loved animals especially her Terrier, Sam. Left to celebrate her life are her parents Deloy and Yvonne of Marshalltown, sister Debra (Scott) Hauser of Georgetown, Texas, nieces Elizabeth and Kimberly Hauser, her dog Sam and a host of friends. In death she has rejoined her grandparents.
