Chris Davenport

Chris Eugene Davenport, 56, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away at home on January 10, 2026.

Chris was born on December 1, 1969, to Sharii and Richard Davenport. He spent the majority of his life in Marshalltown near his family.

He is survived by his mother, Sharii Davenport; his sister, Julie (Roger) Strasburg; his brother, Scott Davenport; and his three children, Amanda, Megan, and Christian. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Davenport.

Chris’s life touched many, and he will be remembered by those who shared in his journey.

Per Chris’ wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. Memorials in Chris’ name may be directed to his family for a later designation.
