Christina Marie Vanwaardhuizen, 44, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at UnityPoint Health - St. Luke’s Hospital.

Christina was born October 1, 1979 in California. She found great joy in her work as a nursing home aide. More than anything, she loved her daughters and granddaughter.
Left to cherish her memory is two daughters, Desiree Vanwaardhuizen and Jewels McDaniel, both of Marshalltown, granddaughter Dahlia and one grandchild on the way.
