Cindy Hadley

Cindy Sue Hadley, age 56, of Marshalltown, passed away at Iowa River Hospice early on June 11, 2020.  In honoring her family’s wishes, no formal services will be held.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Cindy was born July 29, 1963 to parents Earl and Nellie (Slifer) Hadley in Marshalltown, IA.  She worked in the Buildings and Grounds department for the City of Marshalltown.  Cindy was excellent at drawing: she could look at any picture and draw it perfectly.  She enjoyed puzzles, music, and quilting.  She absolutely loved her cats. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Earl (Julie) Hadley, Rose (Randy) Hadley-Kell, Rebecca “Becky” (Ray) Ericson, Cathy (Steven) Schafer, Beverly Hadley, and Donna (Wayne) Hadley Gribbins; her sister-in-law Roberta Hadley; numerous nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; a few great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; many cousins; and her beloved cat Herman. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Nellie; her brother Richard Hadley; her step-father Earl Collins; her great-nephew Chase Clark; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her cats Taffy and Honeycomb.
