Clair William Randall Clive, IA Clair Randall 80, passed away at home on February 11, 2015 after a valiant fight with cancer. Visitation will be held Monday, February 16, 2015, 9 to 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic church, 1627 Grand Avenue, West Des Moines. A Celebration of Life will follow with Father Hess officiating. Clair was born in Marshalltown, IA to Fern and Burdette Randall on August 14, 1934 and graduated from High School at Whitten, Iowa in 1951, then went on to serve in the U.S. Army Reserve. Clair worked in Ag and Petroleum marketing and management from 1958 until his retirement from Waterloo Service Company in 1997. Clair had a lifelong passion for motorcycles and belonged to the Heart of Iowa BMW Club. He enjoyed the company of his family, dogs, visiting with people and his neighbors. Clair was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9632. Clair is survived by his wife, Mary of 60 years, and his children; Randy (Lois) Randall of Clear Lake, IA; Brenda (Philip) Atkinson of Maple Grove, MN; Darcy (Rick) Schultz of Algona, IA; Trudy (her dog Ollie) Randall of West Des Moines. As well as grandchildren; Eric (Ashley) Randall of Johnston, IA; Erin (Anthony) Turner of Des Moines, IA; Christopher Atkinson of Adel, IA; Andrew Atkinson of Maple Grove, MN; Dylan Schultz of NYC, New York; Adam (Maria) Schultz of White Bear Lake, MN. And six great grandchildren. Clair was proceeded in death by his parents and his 2 brothers Chuck and Max. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Family of Clair Randall or Quakerdale School for homeless children. Internment will held at Melbourne Cemetery, Melbourne, Iowa. Mitchell Funeral Home of Marshalltown, IA is in charge of arrangements
