Clarence Borton, 86, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away suddenly on the morning of May 20, 2023.

Clarence Edward Borton was born May 2, 1937 at his home to parents Cleo and Merle (Smith) Borton in Story County. Clarence had attended school in the area as well.
Clarence was united in marriage to the love of his life Dorothy Hall. Together they called the rural Marshall County area their home and raised their two children together. Clarence was a farmer at heart and worked the farm for many years. Additionally, he worked for Fisher Controls in Marshalltown where he worked as a forklift operator for many years. In his free time, Clarence loved to spend time outdoors, go on camping trips, go on fishing outings, and mow his yard and loved his dogs.
Those left to remember and cherish his memory are his son, Alan (Jane) Borton of Marshalltown; his daughter-in-law, Renee Borton; his dogs and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Borton; his son, Marvin Borton; his parents, Cleo and Merle; and his siblings Dale Borton and Marion Borton.
