Clarie was born October 25, 1934 to the late Samuel Cole and Lillie Ann Dollar. She met and married Charles Miller in 1958. To the union five children were born. Clarie spent many years as a CNA and LPN working at Westwood Nursing Home and the Iowa Veteran’s Home in Marshalltown until her retirement. Clarie could always be found helping others, never worrying about herself. She was a faithful Christian always putting God first and a loyal member of Second Baptist Church in Marshalltown. She is survived by her five daughters; two sisters; one brother; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and one very special friend, Dennis Paxson. The family is requesting private services due to the pandemic.
