Cledith Peerenboom

Cledith Peerenboom, 58, of Marshalltown, died Sunday, September 6, 2009, while in the care of her family and Iowa River Hospice.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9th, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at a future date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Please wear casual dress. Ph 641-844-1234.Cledith Marie Perdue was born on March 21, 1951, in Lawton, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Lewis Dewey Perdue Jr. and Pauline Marie Raines. She was educated in Iowa Schools. Cled had lived in Marshalltown since 1966.Cled worked as a CNA at different area nursing homes, at Zip Mart on North 3rd Avenue from 1994 until it closed, and was currently working at Wal-Mart in the ladies shoe department.Surviving Cled are her four children, Robert Perdue of Marshalltown, Melinda Boyd of Gladbrook, Nina (Eugene) Barnhart of Great Lakes, IL, and Jeremy Peerenboom of Marshalltown; her 2 grandsons and 5 granddaughters; her siblings, Mary Harmon, Ann Fisher, Dewey(Becky) Perdue, and Larry(Jeanette) Perdue, all of Marshalltown; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.In death, she has rejoined her parents and her first husband, Vern Boyd Jr.
