Clinton Ronald Bane was born July 14th, 1956 to Clinton Robert and Bernice Losee Bane in Marshalltown, Iowa. Ron grew up attending school in the Marshalltown Community School District and graduated from Marshalltown High School with the class of 1974. It was during that time he met the love of his life Pamela (Cope). The two were united in marriage on August 9, 1974 at the Central Christian Church in Marshalltown. The two began their lives together and were blessed with two children, Melissa and Clinton Ryan. Ron had a thirst for knowledge and would absorb as much information about what he was doing as he possibly could. He was a mentor to many and was always willing to share the knowledge he had, always offering his help and encouragement. He attended William Penn University and graduated in 2001 with his business degree, graduating with the honor Magna Cum Laude. He began his career with Fisher Controls in Marshalltown in 1976. With his thirst for knowledge he became the resident paint expert, which led to him traveling the world where he met many wonderful co-workers while sharing his expertise. He was referred to as Dr. Paint. His most recent accomplishment was becoming risk mitigation manager before his retirement in July 2018. His work ethic was unmatched. He was a member of SME Electroplaters society reaching level 2. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. In his free time he enjoyed activities such as camping, fishing, boating, golfing, and woodworking. One of his favorite accomplishments was making cradles for his new grandbabies and shadow boxes for his grandchildren as they grew. He also enjoyed painting, smoking/grilling the best food, gardening, spicy foods, as well as trying new foods from foreign countries. He also loved watching his Iowa Hawkeyes and the Green Bay Packers. But his favorite title he earned was being called Baha (grandpa) by his 7 precious grandchildren. Left to remember and cherish his memory are his wife Pamela; his children Melissa (Dan) Deeter, and Clinton Ryan (Addie), his grandchildren Reilly, Dominic, Michael, Anna, and Amelia Deeter, and Ashlyn and Clinton Reed Bane; his siblings James (Bonnie) Bane and Robert “Bob” (Stacy) Bane. In death, Ron rejoins his parents Clinton Robert and Bernice Bane and his sister Donna Gayle Stansberry.
