Clyde C. Youngbear, 50, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Following Clyde’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services for Clyde will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Shomo officiating.  There will be no public visitation prior to the service.  Memorial contributions may be directed in Clyde’s name to his family which will be later designated to the Iowa Donor’s Network.  For further information or to send a condolence please visit www.mitchellfh.com or call (641) 844-1234.  Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Clyde and his family. Clyde Christopher Youngbear was born on January 31, 1968 in Pierre, S.D. the son of Chris and June (Ceaser) Youngbear.  He was raised and educated in the Marshalltown School District, where he graduated from Marshalltown High School with the class of 1987.  Following high school, Clyde went on to graduate from Hamilton Technical College in Davenport, Iowa.  Clyde was a proud veteran who honorably served his country. His passions in life were watching movies, listening to music, drawing, writing letters, watching sports and most importantly was spending time with his family and friends as well as volunteering his time at a local restaurant. Left to cherish Clyde’s memory are his children: Audreyanna (Alex) Marlett, Jessica (Robert Neuroth) Bear, Dorothy Youngbear and Julius Youngbear; grandchildren: Charlotte, Izabelle, Anastasia, Colette, NyAsia, AnnaMaye, Robert Jr. and Alysabeth; siblings: Lisa (Adrian) Youngbear, Lonnie Youngbear, Valerie Stevens, Lyndon Johnson and Carla Youngbear as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents: Chris and June Youngbear and four daughters: Kirsten, Tiffany, Sara and Alysabeth.
