Coby Youngblood

Coby Earl Youngblood, 54, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Per the wishes of Coby and his family, cremation rites have been accorded under the care of the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A family-led celebration of life will take place on Saturday, January 6 beginning at 2:00 P.M. at Haverhill Social Club. Attendees are encouraged to wear Harley Davidson attire. Coby was born with his twin brother, Cody, on December 16, 1969 in Marshalltown, Iowa, to parents Jack and Penny (Louks) Youngblood. After graduating from Marshalltown High School in 1988, he attended HVAC school. Coby dedicated 30 years to JBS, retiring in January 2021.

Coby lived a quiet and simple life and his love was Harley Davison motorcycles. Coby enjoyed riding his bike on Bike Night, especially Wednesday nights in Baxter. His hobbies included farming, tractors and gaming. He loved his trips to Ames and Des Moines to get ice cream with his mom and steaks with his sister.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Penny Youngblood; his siblings: Sky (Tom) Timm of Marshalltown, Cody (Bo) Youngblood of Linwood, KS and Lance (Maggie) Cowell of Leawood, KS; several nieces and nephews and his father, Jack Youngblood.
