Colby Hauser

Colby Jon Hauser, 20, of West Des Moines, formerly of Gladbrook, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at his home in West Des Moines. To honor his and his family’s wishes, cremation rites will be given and his family will host a Celebration of Life from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12th at the Gladbrook Memorial Building. He grew up in Gladbrook and graduated from Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School in 2020. He honorably served our country in the National Guard from 2018 until 2020. He enjoyed his fur babies: Bella, Nickel, Daisy and Binx, playing games on-line with his brother and friends, watching the show “Impractical Jokers”, playing basketball with his uncle and friends, playing Monopoly (which never ended peacefully) and spending time with his family and friends (while annoying his brother and sister). Colby was a loving and caring son, brother, grandson and nephew and he will be deeply missed. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Amy (Jason) Howell; his siblings: Cierra and Caiden of Gladbrook; his grandmother, Lynna Brown; Nana Kerry Hauser and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Colby was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dennis Hauser and Mike and Deb Howell and his pug, Dora.
