Connie Lou Watson

Connie Lou Watson, age 85, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on November 15, 2023, at Iowa River Hospice House.

Constance Lou Watson was born September 5, 1938, in Conrad, Iowa to parents C.E. Hughes and Clara Belle (Schrafel) Hughes. Connie later went on to graduate from Conrad High School. On September 15, 1956, she married the love of her life, Roy E. Watson Jr. at the little brown church. She was a housewife for a few years and then went on to work for Fisher Controls in the accounting department. Connie was known as a “50’s old-fashioned” home maker. She loved bowling and collecting crystal.

Connie is survived by her son Michael (Pam) Watson, siblings: Shirley Warnell and Margie McBride, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Roy E. Watson Jr., her parents: C.E and Clara Belle Hughes, son David Allen Watson, brothers Charles and Ed Hughes.
