Corliss Cox

Corliss K Cox, 71 Newton, IA   Corliss “CC” Kay Cox passed away on July 4th, 2018 in Newton, IA.  She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Ada Archer, and her brother Marion Archer. She is survived by her siblings Ernie (Virginia) Smith, Mildred (Larry) Nation, Carroll (Deb) Archer, and Alan (Wanda) Archer, 3 sons Joe Pendergrass, Max (Cindy) Cox, and Gene (Sharon) Cox,  her 10 grandchildren, Ashley (John) Kembel, Ashley Hefel,  Zach Cox, Gabe (Selena) Cox, Cheyanna Hefel, Kathy (Abby) McMillan, Madison Cox, Michael Cox, Michelle Cox, Amanda Hilsenbeck, and her 7 great grandchildren, Maydeleine Cox-Hildalgo, Brayden Cox-Hidalgo, Sarah Kembel, Lyla Belger, Zoey Kembel, Izzabell Cox, and AnnaMarie Davis. She was a very social person with many friends and her hobbies included being an avid reader, playing Bingo, crafts such as knitting, crotchet, cross stitch and embroidery, keeping in touch with family, and spending time with her sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved them with all her heart. They were her pride and joy and she was loved just as much by them. She will be a presence that will truly be missed. Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 19th 2018
