Corrine Fisher

Corrine Fisher, age 60, of Marshalltown, passed away suddenly in the morning hours of Monday, January 10th, at the UnityPoint Health Marshalltown. A family led celebration of her life will be held this spring. Her family is planning it on March 20th, 2022, -her 61st birthday. Future notices will confirm the date and time as well as place. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com. Ph. 641-844-1234. Born on March 20th, 1961, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Donald and Marie Darlene (Morden) Fisher. She was blessed with having her mom’s husband, Ruben Morgan, later in her life as well. Corrine received her education in the Marshalltown schools. She was a well-known face that greeted thousands of customers in a year as the Wal-Mart greeter. She had also been employed at Westwood Nursing Home and the Marshalltown Times-Republican. Days of enjoyment were fulfilled by arts and crafts, visits from family and friends, and her cat, Little Man. It was a great day if cookies and chocolate were involved! Simple joys of butterflies and lilacs also were highlights in her life. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings- Lloyd (Deb) Fisher, Ramona Verdinez and Jay (Mary) Roberts; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews whom she treasured, several friends and her cat, Little Man. In death, Corrine rejoined her parents- Donald Fisher, Marie Morgan and Ruben Morgan, her sister Roxanne Fisher and nephews Sergio and Dedrikk.
