Courtney Lynne Rhodes

Courtney Lynne Rhodes, 27, of Gladbrook, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 2, 2021. To honor her wishes, cremation rites will be given and her family will host a Celebration of Life on Thursday, July 15 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the AMVETS Hall, 101 Main Street in Lincoln, Iowa. Born on February 3, 1994 in Great Bend, Kansas the daughter of Jennifer Olson and Jason Kracke. She grew up in the Gladbrook area and attended school at Gladbrook-Reinbeck Schools. She was united in marriage to Cody Rhodes. She resided in Gladbrook. She will forever be endeared and remembered as a loving mother with an outgoing personality who loved doing silly things and a person who had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed collecting things, going to concerts, dancing and shopping. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Sophia and step daughter Rylee Rhodes; her parents: Jennifer Olson (significant other John Shouse) and Mike Byerly; her father, Jason Kracke and his family; her step sister, Courtney Byerly; her grandparents: Patty and Lon Muller, Carroll and Shaun Olson and Duane and Andrea Byerly; her extended Shouse family; and her special family and friends, Aunt Pamela Hamann, Cousin Ashley Olson, Friends Brittnay Inman and Emma Butler. In eternal life, Courtney joins her husband, Cody and her great grandparents.
