Crystal Deanne Pinney

Crystal Pinney, 49, of Marshalltown, passed away early Saturday morning, March 19, 2022, at the UPH Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. To honor her and her family’s wishes, cremation rites will be given and no services are planned. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted to care for Crystal and her family. Crystal Deanne Pinney was born on March 10, 1973 in Marshalltown, the daughter of Ronald and Elaine (Locke) Pinney. She grew up in Marshalltown and attended the public schools. She was employed in the food service department at the Marshalltown Community College. Survivors in include her sons, Christian Mason and Austin Mason; her mother, Elaine Locke; her sisters, Tiffany Lynch and Susan (Jim) Gentry; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and her faithful dog, Caden. Those preceding her in death are her father, Ronald Pinney and her sister, Angela Grady.
