Cynthia Miller

Cynthia Miller, aged 59, of State Center and San Marcos, CA, passed away on Tuesday, December 19th, at the Israel Family Hospice Home in Ames. A memorial gathering will be announced next year in more suitable weather. Memorials may be directed to her family. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is assisting Cynthia's family. Ph. 641-844-1234.

Born on February 2nd, 1964, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Robert and Louise (Lyman) Houghton. She graduated from West Marshall High School and attended business college in Mason City.

After moving to California, she married Mark Miller, and they made their home in San Marcos, raising three children. Mrs. Miller worked as a medical biller and office group manager for a medical group.

Cynthia found joy in jazzercise, golf, scrapbooking, her dog Lilly, and cherished moments with her family. Left to mourn her loss are her loving husband Mark, three children: Max, Michael, and Marisa, her father Robert, and many friends.

In death, she is reunited with her mother.
