Cynthia Helen Rhiner, 62, of Highlands, Texas, passed away on June 2, 2021 at her home. Graveside services for Cynthia will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in State Center. Visitation will start prior to the graveside services at 12:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Cynthia Rhiner was born on March 1, 1959 in Apple Valley, California to Grant David Rhiner and Betty Lou Fisher Rhiner. She had attended college at Lee College in Baytown, Texas. Cynthia served her country honorably in the United States Air Force from May of 1979 until November of 1984. Cynthia was passionate about the study of Lyme disease and providing support and knowledge for those suffering from it. She also was involved in making natural remedies and studying the art of natural herbal remedies. Cynthia is survived by her son, Robert W. Young; grandson: Oliver V. Young and her siblings: Christopher Rhiner, Julie Randolph and Katherine Snider.Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents: Betty and Grant and siblings: Jeff Rhiner, Mary Rhiner and Theresa Rhiner.
