Dale Joseph Hemesath

Dale Joseph Hemesath, 70, of Waterloo, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Per the wishes of Dale and his family, cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned at this time. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with Dale’s care. Dale was born August 26, 1951 in Decorah, the son of Joe and Rosemary (Uhlenhake) Hemesath. He had honorably served our country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Teresa Rae Marth on October 16, 1981 and was employed at John Deere. Dale was a member of the UAW. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; his children: Joel (Heather) Hemesath and Michael (Laura) Hemesath; grandchildren: Rachel and Lauren Hemesath and his siblings: Mary Jo Hemesath, Margaret “Peggy” Tann, Doug Hemesath and Dean Hemesath. Dale was preceded in death by his parents.
