Dale Henderson

Wendell D. Dale Henderson, 73, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016, at the Iowa Veterans Home, in Marshalltown, Iowa. Following Dales wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will not be any public services for Dale at this time. His family will be having a private graveside service at a later date in honor of Dale. Memorial contributions may be directed in Dales name to his family. Wendell Dale Henderson was born on May 25, 1943, in Webster City, Iowa, the son of Wendell and Cecil (Hill) Henderson. He was raised and educated in the Webster City School District, graduating from Webster City High School. Following High School, Wendell honorably served his country enlisting in the United States Air Force. On April 15, 1972, Dale was united in marriage to, Pamela Koontz. The two later divorced. Dale was a hardworking man, dedicating his working years with the County of Hamilton, Iowa. He had a passion for hunting and spending time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Jason (Tracy) Henderson and Shelly Henderson; many grandchildren; siblings: Judy (Larry), Donna (Mike) and Linda. He is preceded in death by his brother, Mike; parents: Cecil and Wendell Henderson.
