Dale Niles

Dale Niles, 51, of Laurel, Iowa, died on Saturday, July 22, 2017 in the comfort of his own home, with family by his side. Funeral services for Dale will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Bonser officiating. Dale Alan Niles was born on February 28, 1966 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Marvin and Wilma Jean (Kitchens) Niles. He attended and graduated from Hot Springs High School in Arkansas. Following high school, Dale honorably served his country by joining the United States Marine Corps. Dale was a jack of all trades but a majority of his working life he was a computer technician. He had a passion for computers, woodworking, hiking and camping in the mountains, as well as learning new things. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Thomas (Lacey), Kimberley, Logan, Janelle and Tabitha; siblings: Perry (Lana), Gerald, Donna and Brenda; best friend and caregiver throughout his illness, Debbie Dugan; as well as Max, his loyal and loving dog. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Julie Gollnick.
