Dale L. Warnell, 67, of Marshalltown, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25th at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Robert Warnell officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. to the service time on Tuesday at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family. He was united in marriage on July 24, 1965 to Mary Selvog in LeGrand, IA.Dale was a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed playing Blackjack at the Meskwaki Casino, a good game of cards, spending time with kids and many friends, and he had a good sense of humor.Left to celebrate his life are his wife, Mary of Marshalltown; grandson: Shane; brother, Paul Buck Warnell; sisters: Paulette Thompson and Nancy Villone; as well as many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Chris; sister, Dorothy Warnell; and brother, Paul Eugene Warnell.
