Dani Virginia Davis

Dani V. Davis, 72, of Marshalltown, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her home. To honor her and her family’s wishes, cremation rites will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 23rd from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Dani Virginia Davis was born on October 19, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of William and Virginia (Lang) Lundy. She grew up in Wichita and graduated high school there. She was united in marriage to Dennis “Doc” Davis on November 6, 1970 and the couple lived in Kansas, Michigan, New Hampshire and Maine before making their home in Marshalltown in 1974, where Dani worked as an office manager for Marshalltown Family Medical Service. Later, she also worked at Randall Pharmacy. Dani enjoyed traveling across the country with her husband Dennis to visit new places. She and Dennis also liked to travel with many friends. Dani enjoyed going to the casino and playing the slots. Dani dearly loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Dennis “Doc” Davis; her son, Jay (Leanne) Davis and her grandchildren, Sydney (Jorden) Studer and Brandon Davis. In eternal life, Dani joins her parents.
