Darlene Albee, 58, of Le Grand, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Cremation rights have been accorded and there are currently no services planned at this time. Memorials may be directed to the family. Darlene Mull was born on December 15, 1962 in Marshalltown to Morris and Kathryn Taft Mull. She was united in marriage to Larry Edwards in 1989. Even though they later divorced, they recently had gotten back together. Darlene enjoyed canvas painting and ceramics as well as drawing. She liked to be outdoors during the summer, sitting by the lake and going for a walk. She also enjoyed watching movies. Darlene is survived by her children: Jesse Edwards his wife Erin of Marshalltown and Brandy Albee of Marshalltown. Siblings: Myrna Mull of Le Grand and Pam Johnson of Des Moines. She is also survived by her significant other, Larry Edwards, grand-cats: Java and Storm and her dogs: Jasmine, Domino and Pharaoh as well as many nieces and nephews. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Kathryn and sisters: Claudette, Linda and Betty.
