Darlene Brockway

Darlene I. Brockway, 63, of Marshalltown, Iowa, formerly of Iowa Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Premier Estates of Toledo.

Darlene was born September 26, 1959 in San Diego, California. She was the daughter of Junior and Betty (Jeffries) Sidwell. She dedicated her working career as a housekeeper for 20 years in Iowa Falls and most recently at the Embers in Marshalltown. She was a loving, kind and supportive mother and an excellent cook. She was also very crafty and artistic, especially enjoying painting and drawing. She enjoyed NASCAR and hosting weekly parties while living in Iowa Falls.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved son, Dan (Jessie) Garcia and their children, Jeydan and Amanda; her siblings: Troy and Jolene Sidwell; stepmother Sandy Sidwell and several nieces and nephews.

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents Junior and Betty, her niece Amanda Sidwell and several beloved pets, including German Shepherds Duke, Rusty and Max and her sweet cat, Sassy.
