Darrel Jay Martin

Darrel Jay Martin, 74, of Conrad, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Grundy County Memorial Hospital and under the care of UnityPoint Hospice.

Darrel Martin was born on January 26, 1951 in Eldora, Iowa. He was the son of Lewis and Virginia (Fistler) Martin. Darrel served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He had previously worked at The Keen Edge for twenty plus years.

Darrel is survived by his children: Tori (Paul) Martin and Kim (John) Martin-Wood; siblings: Robert (Corinne) Martin and Carol Martin. He is also survived by three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Darrel is preceded in death by his daughter: Darlyn Martin and parents: Lewis and Virginia.
