David Alba, 62, of Marshalltown, died Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Grandview Heights, with his loving family by his side. Services for David will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home where there will be a 7:00 p.m. Vigil service. He was united in marriage to Maria Antonia Miranda Garcia on May 5, 1995 in Marshall County. David was a hardworking man and worked for both Lenox and Swifts. David is survived by his wife, Maria Alba of Marshalltown. Six children: Berta, Jorge, David Jr., Cruz, Pablo and Elvira Alba, all of Muscatine, Iowa. Nine grandchildren, one brother, Javier Alba and one sister, Josefina Alba.David was preceded in death by his parents.
