David Fisher

David Eugene Fisher, 52 of Marshalltown passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Grandview Heights and under the care of the Iowa River Hospice Home. Funeral services for David will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Public visitation will be one hour prior to service time. The family requests that you please come dressed casual in jeans and t shirt or even in your favorite Harley shirt. Memorials may be directed to the family or Grandview Heights for recognition celebrating the wonderful care they gave to David. David Fisher was born on February 15, 1964 in Iowa City to Delbert E. and Donna M. Jacques Fisher. David loved to ride his Harley motorcycle, fishing, bowling, listening to KGGO and the outdoors. He was a very simple man and had a wonderful sense of humor and very mischievous but could also be stubborn at times. He also loved his lottery tickets and going out to dinner for his pie at Perkins or to get his Big Mac from McDonalds. David is survived by his daughter Jill Marie Weitzell of Marshalltown. Grandchildren: Efrain, Antonio, Selena, Cortez and Damian. Mother: Donna Lathrop. Siblings: Donita (Jon) Eickholt of Story City, Denise Fisher of Toledo, Debb Klass of Conrad, Dan (Beth) Fisher of Marshalltown and Diana Hart of League City, Texas. David is preceded in death by his father Delbert, sister Marlene Holle, grandparents Elvin and Florence Jacques, nieces Miechelle Fisher and Crystal Matheson-Leyendecker and brother in law Justin Klaas
