David Judge, 56, of 107 West Nevada Street, Marshalltown, died early Saturday morning, February 10th, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral services and a celebration of Davids life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 14th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Gregg Davison of the Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Dobson Cemetery near Garwin with a time of fellowship and refreshments to follow in the Carlton Brethren Church. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for David and his family. David was born on October 17th, 1950, to Roger and Margaret (Smith) Judge in Marshalltown. He grew up in the Tama County area and attended school in Montour and Tama. His class was the first graduating class from the new Tama High School in 1968. After graduation, David worked for Fisher Controls where he had worked up till his untimely illness and death. David received many awards for the 36 years he had worked at Fishers. David enjoyed his love of cars, especially the Corvette and his 1969 Z-28 Camaro. He also enjoyed listening to blues music and going to the sprint car races in Knoxville. He never missed a race. David liked to play jokes on people, especially his mother and co-workers. David is survived by his mother, Margaret, his brother, Douglas (Candy) Judge and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father, Roger and several aunts and uncles.
